MYON lighters for cigars and the pipe
Within our range MYON is the brand for cigar and pipe. Every model we carry also appears in the cigar category, and all three pipe lighters we have are a MYON.
Prices start higher than with the other brands. What stands out is that alongside the jet flames there are two softflame models, with a soft flame instead of a directed blue one.
Jet flame for the cigar, softflame for the pipe
This is the choice that sets MYON apart from the rest. A jet flame is hot and directed and works fast, which suits the foot of a cigar. With a pipe you want the opposite: a jet flame scorches the tobacco and the rim of the bowl. That calls for a soft flame, and that is exactly what the two softflame models deliver.
The jet flame models
From one flame to four. More flames means the foot of a cigar lights all the way round at once instead of on one side, which saves correcting while you light it.
The softflame models for the pipe
Two models have a soft flame. It burns more calmly and less hot, so you light the tobacco without scorching it. Both of them also appear with the pipe lighters. Outdoors such a flame does blow out more easily.
Size and finish
There is a slim pen model you slip into a breast pocket, and there are heavier models that sit firmly in the hand. All in metal and all refillable.
Refill with butane gas at 45 PSI and wait a minute after filling. At lower pressure or with less pure gas the flame starts to sputter and the valve clogs up.
