PyroProducts: from practical tools to atmosphere
PyroProducts started in 2021 out of frustration. We were keen fireworks enthusiasts ourselves and good lighters were almost impossible to find: what was on the shelf was cheap and quickly broken, and a premium jet flame with a tight blue flame was missing entirely.
What began with lighters grew into a complete specialist in fire. This page holds the items we develop under our own name.
From practical to atmosphere
A fire moment has two halves. You have to get it going and handle it safely, and that is the practical part. After that you want to make something of it, and that is what a table fireplace, a fire pit or coloured flames are for. Our own line deliberately runs through both halves.
Lighting
The PyroPen Turbo and the PyroTorch Quattro. Both refillable with butane gas, because a lighter that goes in the bin after one tank was exactly the frustration we started with. The PyroPen has one jet flame, the PyroTorch four.
Practical around the fire
A cast-iron log splitter with hammer, leather gloves that can take heat, a felt log basket and firelighter coils made of natural material. The tools you need as soon as you light a fire more than occasionally.
Atmosphere
Table fireplaces on bioethanol or on wood and pellets, a foldable fire pit, solar garden torches that charge during the day, and Magic Fire powder that makes the flames change colour.
The lighters from our own line are refilled with butane gas at 45 PSI. Wait a minute after filling, otherwise there is still air in the tank and it seems broken.
Everything for fire in one place
Alongside our own line we carry other brands too, from Prof and Atomic in the value segment to MYON and Silver Match for cigar and pipe. Those sit in the categories where they belong.
If you want a lighter and do not mind the brand, have a look at the lighters, because that is where all the brands stand side by side. If it is about atmosphere indoors or on the terrace, you will find that with the table fireplaces. For the tools around a fireplace those are the fireplace accessories.
If you are torn between our two lighters, let what you light decide. For a candle, a cigar or a fuse the PyroPen with one flame is enough and more economical. Are the lighters from your own line refillable?
Yes, both. The PyroPen Turbo and the PyroTorch Quattro are refilled with butane gas at 45 PSI through the valve at the bottom. That was the starting point: a lighter you do not throw away after one tank.
What is the difference between the PyroPen and the PyroTorch?
The number of flames and the shape. The PyroPen is pen-shaped with one jet flame and a clip for your pocket. The PyroTorch has four flames and a wider hot cone, with which you get coals or wood going faster.
What does Magic Fire powder do?
It changes the colour of the flames in a fire pit or fireplace. You scatter it over the burning wood. How much to use and where it can and cannot be used is stated on the product page itself.
Which table fireplace do you choose?
That depends on the fuel. Bioethanol burns clean and without smoke, which is pleasant indoors. The wood and pellet version feels more like a real fire and suits outdoors better.
